Bangla – the series

Phaim is a nice second-generation Italian boy of Bengali origins, and a practising Muslim. He lives with his family in Rome’s multiethnic neighbourhood Torpignattara, has a band with his best friends, 2G (a second-generation Italian like himself), and a girlfriend, Asia, his exact opposite: she comes from northern Rome, and is a person of pure instinct and no rules. Will Phaim be able to reconcile his love for Asia with the hardest of Islam’s rules, chastity before marriage?
