Radio Alice

Bologna, 1976. Radio Alice is the radio of the student movement, a revolutionary voice in the panorama of free Italian radios. The 100.6 MHz frequency soon becomes the voice of a generation of young people who want to change the world, who refuse the values of bourgeois society, of the capitalist working world and hope in the affirma- tion of ideals of equality and freedom. Yet the desire for change doesn’t seem to change the life of Sgualo and Pelo, two boys from the suburbs, who every now and then do little “jobs” for Marangon, a small-time fence. But when Marangon hires them to dig a tunnel under the bank, the two boys start listening to Radio Alice during the long hours of night “work”. Thus they discover the existence of a new vision of the world and their lives start to change radically. A new horizon, going far beyond their squalid suburban life, opens before their very eyes.
