The juvenile court assigns Mario, a boy of nine, to the care of Giulia and Sandro, a couple in their forties. Used to a violent life of abuse and maltre- atment, little Mario ends up in a world unknown to him.
He is pampered and spoiled by his new parents, and while Giulia is at ease in her new role as a mother, Sandro has trouble fitting into this new reality.
