1993 Bruno is sitting at the mixer of a radio station about to close down in three hours time. He’s relating the history of the network, born out of a monopolistic system and labeled “free radio” when the FM band was practically empty. But his story ends up by being mainly the story of Freccia, Rino, Tino and Juri, all in their late teens way back in the Seventies. He recalls their time idling at the local bar, their desire to play around small town miths, the often painful choices life has presented them with, and the “voice” that the radio about to close has given their generation. In the three hours before the deadline, through Bruno’s words we see life taking its course and its tall from every one of them. Through practical jokes, soccer matches, weddings, heroin, indifferent parents and work at the factory their friendship never wavers, and little man start to grow upwell aware that the outside world is not the best of places.
